Nothing much is known to-date of William Humphrey Lloyd's life prior to immigrating to Australia from Wales. His father Evan was titled as 'gentleman' in 1838 and was therefore an owner of land, a farmer perhaps. On emigrating to Australia he was variously a miner and a farmer. He settled in Reids Gully via Parkes. Nothing is sure of his siblings. 13986
