Kapunda Herald, 17 May 1872:

"We regret to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Moyle, Sen., mother of Mr. H. V. Moyle and Mrs. Crase, Kapunda, who was found dead in her bed on Wednesday morning (15th. May) at her son's (Mr. John Moyle's) residence in Tarlee, where she had been living for some time past. Mrs. Moyle was as well as usual when she retired to rest on the previous evening, and an inquest was certified to be unecessary, as the old lady, who is very much respected, had for some time past been in a precarious state of health - and the doctors had prognosticated that she was likely to go off suddenly at last. Mrs. Moyle came to the colony just twelve years ago in comapny with Mr. H.V. Moyle and Mrs. Warrington. Mrs. Crase and Mr. Thomas Moyle had arrived in the colonies some years previously. One of her sons, Mr. Francis Vivian Moyle, had died some years back, but the deceased lady is survived by two daughters and three sons, all well-known and much respected in this district, namely, Mesdames Crase and Warrington, and Messrs. Henry, Thomas and John Moyle. The remains of Mrs. Moyle have been brought into Kapunda from Tarlee, and the funeral is to take place this afternoon, Friday, 17th. May, 1872."

Died age 68 years. 22
