---------------------------------------------
The BRAY family of Camborne is represented in the Visitations of
Cornwall as Bray of Treswithian (p. 53). Agnes's father, William BRAY,
could be the 3rd son of George BRAY and Elizabeth DANVERS. The visitations
do not give a marriage. If this is Agnes BRAY's father, then this
is her pedigree, beginning with the abovementioned William:
- William BRAY, 3rd son, aged 22 years in 1620 (b.c. 1598), buried
8 May 1659 at Camborne; son of:
- George BRAY of Treswithian, son and heir, aged 54 years in 1620
(b.c. 1566), buried Apr 1633 at Camborne; and Elizabeth DANVERS, buried
22 Aug 1622 at Camborne, daughter of Henry DANVERS and brother to
Sir John DANVERS. George BRAY was the son of:
- John BRAY of Treswithian in Camborne, and Katherine ISAM (buried
6 Mar 1626, Camborne), daughter of William ISAM. John BRAY was the
son of:
- Henry BRAY of Treswithian, and Margery BURLASE/BORLACE, daughter
of Walter BURLASE/BORLACE of Newlyn in Cornwall. Henry BRAY was the
son of:
- William BRAY and Margery (who afterward married John HAMMOND).
