Christian Herbert Bohlsen was a tailor. When Chris enlisted in 1918 in WWI, his address was Lithgow. He reached England where he served with the 18th Australian Infantry Battalion. He returned to Australia in 1919 but was not discharged until 1920. At this stage his wife and child seem to have disappeared.
Chris operated the tailors shop in Coffs Harbour NSW until 1924. He moved on to Hillston. He joined the Oddfellows, the Masons, and became a Roman Catholic before he died in Jan 1932. Chris was very tall, like his grandfather Thomas Wemyss Joyce. 13218
